I Thought I Would Die Poem by RHODVICK LUSENO

I Thought I Would Die

My life has Changed so much, I can't lie
I've lived a very hard life, I thought I would die
I am better than I used to be, I have no complaint
Despite the Challenges, never was I weak or faint

Darkness surrounded me in every step I used to take
I managed a smile even though it was fake
At school I laughed when others talked to me
But inside of was dying, wishing they could see

Single parented, I grew strong, never ready for a fall
Challenges, I walked past them all
Till date, I work hard each and every day
To help those In need in every possible way

I never wish to see others shed their tears
Like I did for years
My dream is to End all the screams
And change things that aren't as they seems
