Lorene - I hope you get to read this. But my heart broke reading your poem, because I have felt that way and know all those feelings are more. I also write, more now than ever. And why is it, that we seem to write better (well I do anyway) when in a very very high or a very very low mood or relationship. There's no middle range for 'great' poetry. I am more and more interested in having a career in writing because I'm so moved by things right now in my life. Everything stirs up a fire in me - good or bad. Keep writing...good or bad. I enjoyed reading this and I hope you find happiness someday that includes friendship and love together as a package deal. Because a friendship will outlast far beyond a physical love in a relationship. Friendship is forgiving and therefore, must be the basis of a lasting relationship when falling in love.
