I Tempt And Tease Poem by Shaun Cronick

I Tempt And Tease

Rating: 5.0

The endless joy,
No endless shame.
Of tightly grasping,
Love's forbidden flame.

A married woman,
I tempt and tease.
And when she's mine,
Do as I please.

I have no emotions,
I'm cold as ice.
Love and leave them,
My callous price.

A cruel heartbreaker,
The worst around.
A prince of lies.
With a hidden crown.

Thanks again good Soran glad you liked it. Don't know about the Sir bit never one for knighthoods. Had a quiet work day and pulled some poem threads together some might work and some might crash and burn. But hey! Better a lion to roar than a mouse to squeak. You don't know till you try. And your latest poem Childhood, Soran, is just captivating. Thank you and take care.
