I Take Full Responsibility Poem by John Fenton Mcleish

I Take Full Responsibility

'Tis true I did commit many a bad thing
But these crimes were not premeditated
And I did not conspire when I acted
Simply intoxicated from drinking
Yes I was a juvenile delinquent
I make no excuses for what I done
For at the time it seemed like so much fun
But I did cross the line 'o too frequent
I blame no one for my affliction
For I take full responsibility
And I do confess this most honestly
'Twas me that fell to this addiction
Too much money, boredom, drugs I was cursed
Yet to make wrongs right I'd have time reversed
