My mind flashed back; To the day my heart sank as you left me in school for the very first time To the day, I cried when you stayed at a relative's house for a night - - - - - - - - - - - - - - To the time, you cried and begged God to heal you To the time, you kissed me for the last time

The poem touched me deeply and brought tears to my eyes- - - - Cried my heart out, seeing those hands trembling That once had fed me, dressed me and prayed for me Those eyes rolling back that had looked at me, dotingly Those pale silent lips, that had once kissed me and talked to me - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -(Part-1)

Yes! Sir, it was the window of that room! Behind the bed there was a glass window! Thank you Sir for reading the poem! 😊

favorite lines so far: To the time, I slept on your lap To the time, I cried at your slap ............my mom sometimes slapped me; i probably 'deserved' it OR it was 'for my own good'/would help to 'teach me a lesson'. nowadays, in U.S., a parent could get into a lot of trouble for slapping or spanking their own child! times change. but it could be good to have 'rules/laws' against slapping/spanking.
