I Step Outside Myself Poem by Ingeborg Bachmann

I Step Outside Myself

Rating: 3.0

I step outside
myself, out of my eyes,
hands, mouth, outside
of myself I
step, a bundle
of goodness and godliness
that must make good
this devilry
that has happened.

A great philosophical poem with a meaningful message. Goodness and godliness will always conquer the claws of darkness. Well crafted.
