I Shine Poem by Randy McClave

I Shine

I will admit it
I'll submit it,
Indeed, I have a dope soul.
I am caring
I am also sharing,
And I am whole.
If we ever meet
As strangers on the street,
I will be kind
If you are afraid of the night
If you need my light,
You won't walk blind.
I will give you my last penny
Until I don't have any,
That is how I am.
I was raised
That money and greed is not praised,
Life, is an exam.
I will give you my vow
Anytime and/or now,
I am committed to love.
I will not hate
That is not my fate,
Scorn, is not what I am made of.
I will not doubt my worth
As I help upon this Earth,
I will always stay true.
I will keep on glowing
As God is ever knowing,
And I will always shine as I do.
