I Shall Not Cry.... Poem by tanesha davenport

i'm tangled in the darkness cant find my way out
im not going to make it without a doubt
suffocating on evil, i try to pray for light
but my prayers are shunned, i'm going to die tonight
pain start filling my heart, then i began to cry
im not afraid of death, but i dont want to die
but its too late the darkness consume my eyes
sad because i never got to say goodbye
i see one last flash of light and try to break free
but death has already won he have already defeated me
finally giving up the fight i lay there and die
i shall not be afraid and i shall not cry
death might have won and i might die
but i shall not be afraid and i shall not cry.....
(really dont like this one, but thought i'd put it up anyway...)
