This was your first poem posted to this forum almost 3 years ago, I am surprised to see no reader's comment on this beautiful poem. What did you mean by 'when we go' of the title? Did you mean departure from this world or a temporary move to a different place? And who are 'we'? The imagery of the poem is simply amazing. Like: 'A speckled matting of birds in flight Framed against the dawning sun And morning clouds of pearly cream Alighting on cables that run'...This is a beautiful poetic depiction of a common sight, wonderfully done.10/10!
