I See Your Image Poem by Bharati Nayak

I See Your Image

In the crimson red of the sky
When dawn breaks and birds fly
Earth wakes up from sleep
Darkness is bade adieu
Oh Lord! There I see your image!

When I see a baby in mother's lap
His smile is so innocent
Eyes reflects tenderness
He seems to have all the wealth of the world
Oh Lord! There I see your image!

In a cool morning of autumn
When each blade of grass wears a crown
Of dew drop, reflecting
The sun rays as diamond
Oh Lord! There I see your image!

In a season of spring
When mango trees are laden with blossoms
The gentle breeze fills the air with their heady fragrance
And a cuckoo sings in a sweet tune
Oh Lord! There I see your image!

In the hot Summer season
When the earth is parched
The plants and animals are thirsty and wait eagerly
The cloud comes showering rain drops like blessings
Oh Lord! There I see your image!
When my mind is filled with fear
Life seems to be wasted hours
When misunderstandings break my heart
A light appears in my inner core illuminating the path
Oh Lord! There I see your image!
