I See You Poem by abu tarek md tahsin

I See You

Rating: 5.0

i see you
not in the face of the moon
but through its light
pouring in between the leaves
of the old mango tree

i see you
your lips
covered in thick dark hairs
winding down the back of your neck.

i see you
tears rolling down your face
and over my bare chest.

i see you
in the depths of the night
we both awake
making memories,
sharing the life we have led.

i see you
Like for the last time
As if
there is no tomorrow.

i see you
clutching onto our dreams
making that last effort
to be you and me.
