Profound poem, marvelously worded, I have enjoyed very much. Congratulations being chosen as The Modern Poem Of The Day.

A passion then for watches, bangles, cuffs. A likely story: you were lashed by brambles picking berries from the woods. Come clean, come good, A very fine poem. tony

Sometimes those of us in the dark need reminding we can hide our scars and push forward. Thank you

Sad commentary on a supposed sacred life.

I stand by every word in my earlier comment. And bring back Carol Ann Duffy, a poet with panache.

Come clean, come good, repeat with me the punch line 'Just like blood' when those at the back rush forward to say how a little love goes a long long long way. A very good poem. tony

Congratulations on being chosen by the Poem Hunter Team Org. As the Modern Poem Of The Day, too much blood shed, dear Professor! But You Say You Say You Say.

How this guy became Poet Laureate beggars belief and he only got because the other poet declined. Just wish it was still held by Carol Ann Duffy.

Congratulations on POD. Really sad, but a piercing and in-depth look at the reality that defines suicide. : -)

There is too much pain and struggles to get the love. A nice poem indeed. 'when those at the back rush forward to say how a little love goes a long long long way.'... is so nice. Loved it.
