Mary, This may well be the best poem of yours that I've read on this site. The craftsmanship is excellent, the images clear and crisp and the journey magical. A fine and lovely poem. With warm regards, Hugh

This poem almost reminded me of birth, or re-birth Mary, it also expresses the claustrophobic feelings of trying to escape lifes shackles, very clearly in the puddle metaphor. I am sure we can all relate to these. It is strange how water, has a mesmerising, calming affect too. A capivating read, ironically enough! lol 10 from Tai

Another non-rhyming winner, Mary! You took an ordinary image and related to human nature in an extraordinary way. I'm so proud of you!

Mary, I thought this was very clever. I really like the way you translated the two stories with such a visual force. This has a sad air about it and is very touching. Kind regards Gyp's

Mary, Your abilities as a poet an commentator of life is increasing by leaps and bounds. Transforming a puddle from a downspout into a profound message attest to that ability. Very well done Rusty
