I's Poem by Kelvin Rush

I's

Everyone's name is I
So anyone could have been you
When I's interact and go forwards and back
It's impossible to know what to do

I could have been born anywhere
You could have been my wife
We both could be part of some family tree
Leading our own double life

Who would I be if I were you
Who would you be if you were I
What's the point of this poem anyway
In the end every I has to die
