I Remember Rollo Poem by Richard D Remler

I Remember Rollo

.....

Bernie's crocodile just ate Rollo.
Ate him up in one big bite.
Bernie's crocodile just ate Rollo.
So Rollo won't be 'round tonight.

I remember Bernie said, "Be careful.
Crocodile's don't care for company.
But Rollo was an inquisitive kitty.
And now Rollo's quiet as can be.

There are cats who shy from their own shadow.
And some are beetle-browed right to the core.
And then there's Rollo, Mr. Nosy.
Who isn't nosy anymore.
