Here is my comment: Very much a touching poem....nothing other than love and care we all expect from our children in our old age... if a long awaited anticipation of such a loving kiss from one's children doesn't get answered even at the verge of death especially, how much a painful disappointment it will be...a real life sad moment is very well brought out in this poem...great work Valsa' '
So I preferred to present my comment on your poem on this page hoping at least this time you get the chance to read it from your mail box...God bless you
The second poem also is an experience rummaged out of your memory.....your first air trip to New Zealand. The fear and anxiety of the first journey by plane is vividly described. Also the cloud laden sky and the half blurred scenes are so realistically brought before the readers' eyes! Lovely write!
Thank you Valsa for your valuable comment.. I responded to this comment immediately after I got it by commenting on your poem 'In The Whirl Of Thought'...but it didn't get posted for some unknown reason...I tried again only in vain..
I feel that you should have posted these two poems separately. The first one is a beautiful tribute to your uncle who has been very kind to you and your family. Though gone, the sweet memories of him still remain so green in you. The love he bestowed on you is amply reciprocated through these beautiful lines of verse.
Dear madam, I feel that you have composed two poems here as an one. In first phase you have narrated about your uncle who is no more. You can't forget his love and affection. This poem is a great tribute to him. In second phase you have portrayed your experience on first flight journey. It has been so touchingly delineated. Both parts of the poem are most beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
