I Pray You Poem by Mohammad Younus

I Pray You

I Pray You,
I Love You
Even if there
might be: -
No book of prayers
in my wallet;
No prayer rug
in my room;
No rosary
in my hands;
No taqiyah
on my head;
No marks
of prostration,
on my forehead;
I keep my self
pure and fair
for you;
I wear only You
on my soul;
I have only you
in my head and
in my heart;
With sole, head
and heart,
I pray to you,
I love you.
