I Pray For The Pastors Poem by Randy McClave

I Pray For The Pastors

I pray for the pastors who have been betrayed
By friends for whom they once had prayed,
By sin and temptation friends have been swayed
They have become Judas's in the shade.
I pray for the pastors with depression
Sadly, they know not the answer to every question,
Churches close, and pastors quit in succession
Only God hears their lonely and sad confession.
I pray for the pastors who have retired
I pray for the pastors who are newly hired,
Surviving discouragement and depression they inspired
Them, I have truly and spiritual admired.
I have prayed for the family of every pastor
Whose family occasionally awaits a disaster,
But, he is hope and his disciples master
So, instead I will tell him thank you, which is faster.
