'Hank, yeah, life is not perfect in this high-and-mighty country, BUT some 'wars' are sometimes avoided or fought by use of extralegal methods. *** *** 'Definition of extralegal: not regulated or sanctioned by law'
I have been reading more about Guantanamo Bay (Gitmo) since I made my first comment. In a sense, your poem is timeless.
11 January 2018 marks the 16th anniversary since GITMO opened. Currently 41 detainees remain.
As of 16 August 2016, there were Sixty-one DETAINEES remaining there. Mother Liberty is weeping.

I notice that you wrote the poem on February 8 in Thailand. It's only February 7 here in Brazil. You are a day ahead of us!
I wonder if it would be 'extralegal' if a Secret Service agent shot a person who was aiming a gun, for example, at our president.
