I Only Pen Rhymes As A Hobby Comments

Indeed one can only write for ones self alone and then try to be true if you can to your inner voice I wrote this recently and having read yours I feel it's safe to share it with you Thanks by the way for an interesting piece as you say what I think is my business. If you write for fame or to be discovered if you want power or to be in shiny slim tooled red leather volumes scripted on vellum of if you want praise and admiration to read in public for applause or want proud approbation the cheers of the crowd then you will be no writer but if you write from the heart and write for yourself only trying to be truthful to your inner voice. knowing that fame and fortune are but transient things then my friend, and only then, can you say I am a writer. how long it took me to learn these lessons and learn them well I cannot say and still I cannot say I am a writer.
