I never thought you cared
About a heart as cold as mine
About a soul as black as mine
About a child who grew at devil's side
Why would you seek the hand of mine
As we shake, I feel a heart's joy___ divine
With a light that blinds
The hurt
The pain
The overpowering rage
From out of a soul___ deranged

I never thought you cared
I never thought I would
