We all need a TALISMAN! I have one - it's an ivory mountain which has figures climbing its circular shape, some stopping at shelters along the way, others preceeding to the summit where there is a small temple. I hasten to add I've had this for over 45 years BEFORE the internationaal ban on ivory products. I don't belirve its magic, but I do believe muy appreciation of it creates good vibrations. The energetic work your poem celebrates makes a talisman almost redundant. There's a strong commitment to cultural pursuits to internalize the heritage of learning and wisdom. What more is required when human effort accomplishes so much on its initiative?
