The place of my birth The land of my fathers The cradle of my youth I miss its proud mountain That stands aloof In the heart of the mainland I miss its ocean teeming with sealife....great love and emotions for your motherland is reflected here. An adorable piece of poetry....5 stars.

Apparently you are no longer in your hometown. Many of us feel nostalgic about our origins, and I am no exception. I really like this poem. By the way, it's not too late to edit it and change 'trumpled' to the word you intended.

This poem resonates for me, Nudershada. There are circumstances in life, beyond our control that deter us from going back to our hometown. A very touching piece beautifully crafted.10
