Sun rode the swift tide of November fields.
Gray power enclosed the music of the form.

Sandra, this one is full of 'let loose' imagination: 'Cloud creatures fumed in a wind faded sky Their struggle opened bright eye holes in space' I absolutely love the title which made me stop and then on reading the unusual first line, 'I met you in a poem, dark leaves fell' intrigued me to read on. Atmospheric, dark, magical and mysterious!

Sandra, your gift for poetry is exceptional, each one I read I enjoy even more. This one has the word longing running through, just like next years leaves. Autumn here. Warm Regards Bob

it sound incredulous 'to meet in a poem' but it is possible! and not only that, for two souls to commune, as is evident in your poems. And if I remember right, we two did meet in a poem, introduced by a Cat named Snow!

This poem may be connoted in many ways… Here all the seasons are met in the lines of a poet….the various seasons describe our mood…sooth us, guide us…, Love comprehended in nature’s changing phase…. Exotic imagery……well composed lines..

dear sandra. there is always so much power in your poem to envelope one's whole spirit. bit by bit one is taken up by its spirit until one reaches its climax and is lost within its beauty. keep up the good work. sincerely, john.

The title hooked me in Sandra and the poem unfolded beautifully and so expressively. Once more, you use the elements to help evoke the passion you express and in so doing, you give the reader more than a glimpse of yourself. Another fine poem. love, Allie xxxx

More specific, I met 'you' in your poem...this very poem for certain. It is obvious that you paint vivid pictures of your heart as it is exhibited in this very piece. Reading verily each line, actually each word, you reveal more than the images of your focus...you uncover ever so slightly, yourself...a talent. This poem is easily recognizable as a classic scribe.
