An all rounder kind on man, determined to win love.

A true man to a life partner and lover should be ready to absorb the anger hurled at him from his beloved, as love is what binds them.

An honest declaration of love! Enjoyed!

Although I have not been able to digest Cohen as musician (songwriter yes) , I will NEVER question his ability as a first class poet. His use of language is powerful and singular is flow and form. He should have been awarded a Nobel. Great choice for modern poem of the day, a Canadian and artistic treasure.

Where are the rest of the lyrics to this wonderful song by Leonard Cohen? II feel that t's important to present the song as a whole in order to gain an understanding of the overall meaning of the poem. I think the great man would be most displeased to see one of his notable songs cut down in this way....surely food for thought? !
