I'm Still Working At My Craft Poem by DM W

I'm Still Working At My Craft

I'm working with a profound inner glow,
Now I'm no longer chasing mere shadows.
Although I'm getting older, and my days
Are numbered, I'm exploring different ways
To express myself. I'll never submit
To the status quo. I will never quit
My duty to subvert & enlighten.
And I'll never receive this chance again.
I'm still imbibing summer's vital wine.
I'm still ripping up the fabric of time.
