Part 1 Dear Susan, Hello and thanks, This is a smart strategy for an expert poet in order to deal with a short and fleeting life, it is true that it is a short poem but it is deep and has marvelous meanings, here in the end of the poem we discover some meaning of true eternity for mankind as it is begins

Wow! This reminds me of the old song, 'Chains (of Love) .' We may believe that love is the goal, but do the chains keep us away from freedom? Sometimes, we have to step back, give the chains a rest, and, as you say, be 'a beginner all over again.' I can actually hear the Beatles doing a 'cover' of I'm Gonna to the tune of Chains. A perfect 10, Susan.

Untie the heart from the chains that bind it. Open it to accommodate others....! Break free of all shackles and begin over again to experience life with newer thrill. Bury the past and get ready to embrace a new morrow. This renewal is what makes life a novel experience full of hope and fresh energy! A lovely resolution and a lovely poem!

I agree. No matter how much we like our ruts and prefer being sticks in the mud, life just has to get all jittery and dodge this way and that and toss us off into the nearest brier patch! ! ! Thank you for the thumbs up! ! !

Hey, Jez, am trying to stay safe... I hope you have not lost anyone to this horrid virus. My husband and I lost a friend to it- we are missing him but know he was a believer and is in good hands now. Stay safe as can be, Jez, you are well-loved on PH

I have hope for you, too, Susan. You always come through in the end. I was getting a little concerned about you because you hadn't posted for a while, but it's great to see you posting again!

Thank you, Kim, for missing me. I think that sounds a bit odd- but it means a lot to me that my friend noticed I am absent.... tis the book series I am writing- -I feel the need to get it done and to a literary agent. So I have funneled most of my time and effort into that. But I do miss my PH friends and the poetry that they are writing and I am missing out on.
