I'm Forever Evolving Poem by Laquory Jones

Deep inside I can feel myself evolving
I think I've found my calling
I've struggled to keep myself from falling
Now I'm always on the go and never halting
Emotions are running high tonight so I'm
Getting emotionally exhausted but skills
I've never lost them but I'm feeling good
That I know I'll always be exalted

I torpedoed deep within the earth at a time
When it needed a defrost and was labeled the
Earth's Molotov the Sparking Heat, Fire and the
Flames all became one in the same
While cementing my name within the realms of
Your brain that's where I'll forever remain
Together we've conquered and overcame
All while on the brink of insane
Forever hiding the pain of the past
Obstacles shattering like the thinning of glass
No more hiding behind a mask
Reassurance is coming in vast
Because you're beautiful inside and that's
Not a lie as tears reaches the sky
It's okay to cry because we all need to
Sometimes it truly reminds me of a time
When people lived so care-free
Now it's all distant memories
Because of a new society's restrictions
On artistry But deep inside myself
I know that I'm forever growing and it's
All just to show you that I'm forever evolving
