I'm Done Poem by Jennifer Birchall

I'm Done

Rating: 5.0

Maybe I haven't suffered enough
For all my wrongs
I've taken it, sometimes I fell
Others stood tall
Hit after hit after hit
Then when I feel a little bit stronger
Another slap in the face
Punishment for my past I cant change
I'm throwing in the towel, I'm done

Hi Jennifer, I can strongly relate to this poem and life's troubles constantly feed the pain. It gets overwhelming at times and you get to the point where you fantasise about leaving. It feels like it's never ending, even after a step closer to achieving, you realise that it wasn't a step after all and you begin to think that maybe you're stuck in a routine. - Psyked

After that poem is written with great passion and emotion, do you ever feel that weight has been lifted off your shoulders? or do you still think that you haven't achieved? Striving for your happiness and fulfilment rather than driven by your pain and emptiness leading to an end should be your key. This is merely my interpretation so don't take it personally - Psyked

Dear Ms. Jennifer, No you are not done yet. You are not going throwing in the towel. You are much stronger than you and others might think. I admire your strengths, standing tall hit after hit. City of ugly angles has no place for you.
