I Love You Poem by Madison Teppo

I Love You

"I love you"
Do you really?
Do you love the way I make you feel?
Do you love the way I make you meals?
Or do you love me for real?
Do you even know what love is?
Love is no matter what
It doesn't have any buts
And if you really loved me
Then why won't you let her be
Everyone else can see it
They see the spark that you lit
But not between us, between you and her
Am I the one making you deter?
What is the history you guys have?
And if this keeps going, will we last?
Did you guys kiss when you snuck away that day
Am I going to have a price to pay
For not catching it early on?
For not letting the idea dawn?
Because I couldn't believe you would do that
But then again, I don't know you very well, do I?
So it's your turn, because I've had my try
And if you refuse, well then, that's goodbye
