I Love To Open Poem by Gary James Smith

I Love To Open

I Love To Open

I love to open the blinds
To let the sunshine in
To look out at the weather factor
As to how my day will begin
Somehow every thing seems better
When the sun comes shining our way
I find it even so in the marketplace
In the greetings of each day

People always seem more cheerful
When the sun comes shining through
The grass it seems more greener
The sky it seems more blue
I think it's God's way of telling us
His Son-shine is needed as well
If we continue to walk in spiritual darkness
We most certainly will wind up
in hell

So pull up the blinds my friends
And let the Sonlightin
Don't continue on as you are
Living a life of sin
There's a life that far above and beyond
It's a life of eternity
Now is just the right time and right place
To look to the Lord and see!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
