I Love To Hear

I love to hear the testimony
Of those who come to Christ
Who found in Him Deliverance
And took to heart His sacrifice
Who owned their sin seriously
As to what it's penalty was
And repented with Godly sorrow
To own His worthy cause

Then to see their exuberance
As to what the Lord had done
Now their mission talking about
The Father, the Spirit, the Son
The Word to them most precious
As fresh manna from Heaven
Their sustenance for food and drink
Doctrine for daily living

Yes there's a joyful telling
From the heart of a soul set free
I love to hear their stories
About the cross of Calvary
How Jesus Christ the Friend of sinner's
Still has love to go around
And every soul that trusts in Him
So great Salvation has found!
