I would've perhaps liked to swim in you O' sea
only if sharks and octopi didn't inhabit thee
Perhaps I would've swum and dived deeper in glee

I love to swim in sea. Where water is calm and you feel as if you are with nature and self.
About seventy per cent of our body is water we need it to survive, to much can kill us, what's interesting most solid objects sink fast and frozen water, ice, floats
a great poem. i like your reflection. ocean, you vision, peace and joy on the shore. i like your poem dear poet. tony
So I'm content with reading, watching aquatic seafaring tales of olden ships, wrecked vessels, treasure troves and blue whales But on a sandy beach I can sit all day The sight of water so refreshing I must say
Have read and commented on this before. Very enjoyable reading. I've never been attacked by sharks or piranhas, but I HAVE been stung by a sting ray!
CONT. 4 - I like this poem VERY MUCH. The only question i have is 'do piranhas live in ocean? ' The answer is NO. They live in Amazon River and lakes. BRI ;)
cont. 3 - I found a comment at my poem, left by 's z k'. I clicked on the author's name. This took me to her PH page showing a list of her poems.
cont. 2 - the first Google selection allowed me to go to my poems on PH. There i clicked on one of my listed poems.

I feel the same way about swimming, diving, playing in the ocean---I don't even want to be on the ocean! ! ! Give me a horse and I shall ride, if God wanted me in the ocean he would have made me with fins and scales and huge dangerous teeth!
I have been there as a diver, dived to 40 metres, dived wrecks, dived with pilot whales too. I've explored ship wrecks, submerged aircraft and helicopters both day and night. You have a lovely poem.
I am with you. I'm afraid of sharks and jellyfish especially. Please read my poem " Miami Beach" and comment on it and I hope it brings a smile
Beautifully expressed thoughts and feelings elegantly embellished with poetic rhyme and rhythm. A lovely creation.
Your verses paint a vivid picture of the allure and dangers of the sea. It's a realm of both fascination and trepidation, where the beauty of marine life clashes with the fear of its predators. Your sister's fear of flying roaches adds a humorous touch to the tale of bravery and hesitation
