One wants to be oneself with everything else added. These thoughts may crawl into the mind of everyone at one stage or other. Thinking further I feel if one wants to be oneself that is what one will be with nothing else. A thought provoking poem to provide encouragement to feel good about one's own state.
You said: Thinking further I feel if one wants to be oneself that is what one will be with nothing else. What a wonderful observation! That is Advaita which is very close to my heart. Thanks Ji!
Girls will swoon and run after you in robes loose - what a teenage Dream! Love for yourself you see as love to your passions. Is it the final and deepest stage of yourself? Is it actually the true love? May be your ego deserves 1000 gopis of Krishna who symbolize human souls?
A nice poetic imagination, Nair. You may like to read my poem, Love and Lust. Thanks.
Many men run after wealth in a hope to get peace, name and fame but instead of it they bridled by wealth. They are not actually happy as wealth creates fastidious attitude, craving and anxieties. We must satisfy within us and be an eagle that soars the skies unbridled without worries. Some lines may be quoted here... Ha, ha, nothing more, nothing more I just want to be me Free with no strings tied Like an eagle that soars the skies Unbridled without worries In my refurbished outfit Because I do love me most. Thanks sir.
a brilliant take away from the 'YAnjavalkya-Maitreyi' samvad, Nair Ji. Also thanks for reminding the secret - though isvara creates the world with his non different 'mAya sakthi', it can be done only with 'jIvas', that we the BrihaspatIs'. kaRma (phalam) ! Thus the Gates, the Bacchan and we the the greatest straddles the world! Regards Balagopal
We are never happy with what we have and crave for more! But a wise man knows that wealth and other worldly possessions will only tether him to peg, restricting his free movement! He needs just enough to live on in peace and joy! A poem which makes us sit and think!
A beautiful poem. Food for thought. Every person has his or her own individuality to which he clings on irrespective of all other things.
Oh, how you pinned the foibles of mankind with this character poem! We want wealth, we want better looks, we want attention from the other gender, we want fame- - -but we don't want to give up a bit of our precious self to have it. We must seem like the youngest of doddering toddlers, the most discontented of gassy babies. God has spread a banquet before all of us- -and we are not content with our lot at all....because we love ourselves most! ! ! Excellent! ! ! 10++++++++++++++++
