I'll Never Say Poem by Ray Hansell

I'll Never Say

We shared together
The morning after
Last night your touch
Meant so very much
We shared
Because we cared
Now it's tomorrow
So much sorrow
I know why
We sit and cry

Who's to blame
Say my name
That's okay
Have it your way
Put the blame on me
So others can see
That your hands are clean
I'll be the one who burst the dream

You can tell them all why
You and I just said goodbye
They'll all get a laugh
In time all will pass
But to you they'll say
I was wrong for you from the first day
They'll say he wasn't right for you
Now you see it's all come true
But I will never repeat
You're the one who had to cheat
