I Know Why Stars Twinkle And Tears Trickle Poem by DEEPAK KUMAR PATTANAYAK

I Know Why Stars Twinkle And Tears Trickle

Rating: 5.0

How happily was sailing through the Titanic
Romance, love, dance, dreams and music all on sea surfacing while cruising along beneath the dazzling sun and the canopy of stars- decked skies making it an exquisite living paradise.
Was it continental or Arctic that caused its demise,
One by one departed leaving us alone save above the eternal beauty of stars.
For the decree is God's luxury
And my fate is my misery
It nailed my bones
It cut my flesh
Thus leaving behind a legacy of love and pain.
How free is a balloon
And how free is a falcon
That the Eden knows
The beauty of antiquity and immortality.
For once living here as buds of earth now gifted to heaven as flowers.
Ancestors of ours they grace the paradise like asters.
Mystical, frail yet beautiful and luminous
Sharing the diadems along with Hesperus and Orion and others singing praises of our affection dears.
Deep in the night when fast asleep is the world with dreams of moonlight flecks
I look at the sky full of flowers white and pure
And see my mother smiling a smile of tears
That dazzle like twinkling stars.
