I Keep You In My Heart Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

I Keep You In My Heart

I keep you in my heart each day,
As I wake up in the morning;
I see no blue, I see no gray,
Just red and pink until evening.

I keep you in my mind at night,
As I dream about you and me;
The dark shadows become so bright,
Because we touch the stars freely.

I keep you in my soul since then,
Yes, you are a part of my life;
Being with you is like heaven,
I overcome the pain and strife.

I keep you in my arms, my love,
To let you feel my warm embrace;
The sky that sees us from above
Brings bliss and delight to our place.

As the rainy nightfall is gone,
The cold twilight starts to depart;
While the dusk meets the break of dawn,
Always I keep you in my heart.
