I Just Want To Run Poem by Leanna Page Markgraf

I Just Want To Run

I just want to run
to get away from it all.
My heart is barely beating
from the horrible fall.

You were supposed to be my prince.
The one of my dreams.
But dear prince you are a liar
Can you hear my screams?

How can you live
when you left me here to die?
Chained to a painful memory
float to the sky.

I just want to run...
