I don't agree with your sentiment, but it is a well written poem.
Bruce, I knew this poem would be painful the minute I read the title. When one lives out here in the country as I do, you do hear the trees screaming as they are cut. I know it is a necessary evil, but it hurts none the less. Scarlett
