Iambic tetrameter. Wonderfully written, flows nicely, and with a great message. These poets were the original “rappers”. “And wild and sweet, the words repeat” “Till, ringing, singing on its way, The world revolved from night to day A voice, a chime, a chant sublime, Of peace on earth, good will to men” It flows so smoothly that iambic pattern.

And in despair I bowed my head: 'There is no peace on earth, ' I said 'For hate is strong, and mocks the song Of peace on earth, good will to men.' /// great writing; powerful Christmas poem penned

'For hate is strong, and mocks the song Of peace on earth, good will to men.'.... //.... Very true. Evil forces are stronger today. Innocent voices of dissent are being suppressed..
