We are sea and fire
When together.
We are thirsty, hungry;
We die for each other's flesh.
We have had each other a lot
Yet it's never enough
To extinguish our fire.
And we are still burning.
We must.
Tell me o love, o sweet fire,
What else does this mortal life have?
Everything in life is painful
Everything
But your sweet flesh.
And this is why I carry
A piece of your sweet flesh
In between my teeth.
Who knows
When death would knock me down!
But I am not afraid
I am not afraid at all.
I have your sweet flesh in between my teeth.
