I have seen her
Amongst the morning glow
Her legs warm against mine
I have seen her
In the midday summer
Bright as a sunflower
Walking down the avenue
I have seen her
Gathering stones from rivers
Bathing in the sunset sea
Walking on an island holding my hand
I have seen her
Through the ages and a day
Yet I cannot know her
Nor does she, herself
