Wow Kelsea - this is a tough poem full of Hate and Love. It seems like you are MESMERISED by this person. I guess it is a Young Man who has mannaged to metaphorically 'get under your skin'. This is a common phenomena as we go through life 'We always love the one who hurts us - and whose love for us does not match up to our own love for them'. The poem is telling me that you hate all the reponses you give to - His gaze - his jokes - his hurts - his failure to phone - his lies - his attitude and even - his support. the last couplet is very telling 'But really what i hate most of all - is the fact that I love you'. Love can destroy us Kelsea and what we have to do is to stand back and see what such a person is doing to us and make a decision to UNLOVE THEM. I know it is more easily said than done - but i had to do it several times - when i was a teenager - to wash certain ladies out of my hair if teir love was being destructive.
