Don’t YOU just hate some people? Wouldn’t you like them gone?
Some human-types I do despise, though some people over them do fawn.
The first that comes to mind is the “no-hands” bicycle-rider.

ha ha ha ha ha..............absolute fun! ! ! ! ......ur poems make me laugh out loud! ! ! u'r very honest in ur every words....and i loved the third line...ha ha ha; D.....i do agree! ! ! ! ! ! .......................: D
True... we hate some.. we want to eliminate some and we want to live in a world devoid of them. But the cops are there and the judiciary is very much there.. Thanks a lot for writing a unique poem.
Hello Bri very funny enjoyed it very much and have to admit i sometimes feel envious i think everyone does
A good poem with good humour. Good that you brought out the difference in being hateful and envious. Yes, 'contrary' perfectly describes the wives, difficult to deal with. And yes, fawn is flattery and not the animal, however dear! Thanks for the note, it does its part.
Beautiful expression. Nice humour. I enjoyed reading it: -)
So besides being hawk eyed, you are green eyed.... too! ! However the spark of humour predominates. Enjoyed! !

Har har har har..ha ha ha ha ha..i love all the lines, because its full of truth and a gallant sense. if i were in your shoes, i wouldn't have the courage to write about the things those i envy about, but you are so gallant to do that...very nice my friend.
I looked upon a ring...and i looked at precious gem, it was surrounded by only a steel..only a steel...i wont say the steel steal the preciousness of the ring...it just a steel and it never be a gold by burning it...what i can see is it keep the gem at the center...tight...if people you dislike be in front of you...find at least something you like even it a little...when we so angry we ignored if they ever precious inside...if it difficult to deal with, dont deal at all..as hate will never dissolve in peace but always make you feel bad only...try to accept though it hard to not reject_Soul
i know, i know, .....gems and them does not rhyme perfectly. bri :)
You don't let your humor take control of this poem. The ending is a rather sober and completely honest assessment of your impulses. All of the examples you give I find grating too, but usually don't pay enough attention to my feelings, just brush them aside. To recognize the prevalence of ENVY in our being is an important piece of self-knowledge. I applaud you for seeing it so clearly. I hope I can be as candid to myself regarding my negative motives.
