I Hate Love Speech Poem by John Fenton Mcleish

I Hate Love Speech

Don't want fame
Or fortune
Nor power same
Or silver spoon

I seek knowledge
And wisdom too
Stick your college
I know what's true

Infinite love
That's my game
No need to prove
I'm not ashamed

Now as I stand
One man alone
It feels so grand
As I atone

Won't be budged
By ignorant fool
Shan't be judged
By laws so cruel

Love I seek
Will never perish
My heart does speak
Of love I cherish
