You wonder who inflicts on you such pain,
as if playing some sort of dirty game,
not you in any case, but it can be anything else,
a person, situation, or just a thought,

'you are responsible for you'...isn't that the best quote dedicated to the human mind? sure it is n this poem shows us the mirror, am sure all readers could see a little bit of them in it. well expressed supported by intelligent rhyming....human nature at its best....
A very simple yet poignant treatise on the human mind - the culprit behind all pain, suffering, remorse, humiliation, hatred, jealousy, anger, and many other negative emotions. Heaven or Hell is just in the mind, as they say. It takes a lot of conscious effort on our part to train the mind to make it a strong fortress immune to all these negative emotions. Once we all succeed in doing this, the world will be like never before - a beautiful Paradise! You seem to have succeeded in this and I'm glad you are trying to spread your beautiful philosophy all over. May it become a pandemic soon!
Very hard and solid explaination for all sadness, sorrow and pain. Self-inflicted suffering shall drown sober human into the ocean of insanity if they just blame others not themselves. That is why, we have to look into the mirror to see beyond appearence of ourself. Sometimes we can't justify certain emotion burst because there are many things beyond our control. Very sharp poem but utmost relevan to make somebody look further and make themselves better person. 10 for you.
Yes, I agree with your outlook in this poem as I've not had too many bad things done to me by others; some, not many; so I can assume, consequently, been pretty darn happy most of the time; but I have to admit, how can I be sure, having such a terrible memory?
i think this is like a song, more like a secular hymn... a well expressed poem! nice!
I tell you, It’s only you, who's responsible, Just witness and not fear. Don’t perpetuate pain, I give you the mirror....mirror is true replica of your mind and self... very nicely presented poem....10 read mine my friend in mirror...blood relation
very good write. i like the way you are real and know that the you are the person to blame and not someone else. everybody else blames other people but it it just the person themselves. you are only a victum as long as you choose to be. everybody, everybody is free. xx
Profound Wisdom. Everybody should reflect on where he/she had been, where is he/she now, and what he or she will potentially become. A great read.
Very nice...in the end we have noone to blame but ourselves for what is done to us
Thanks for the beautiful gift of profoundly philosophic song of human soul. CP
I think this is your best poem so far. It might not be the one full of the deepest meaning or have the most ideas presented, but as a poem it has good form and grammar, and not only that, I think the message is extremely clear, and as stated before, it made you want to read it to the end. Very well done.
True! Once we accept a situation without reaction or resistance, we become calm to deal with any resentment or anger or even insult in appropriate manner. Your poem is superb and elevating! [Who will watch like a rock with not any passion, The noisy waves of thoughts ‘n emotions, That storm ‘n thunder if we resist them, But calm down if as such we accept them, Losing then all the fury and commotion.} -what a beautiful description!

This is an excellent universal message, Amrit. I, too, believe that we are responsible for our own happiness despite despite random or deliberate intrusions to it.
