I Gave You A Rose Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

I Gave You A Rose

Rating: 5.0

I gave you a rose and you laughed
I didn't get angry
But I felt disappointment and wept
For I loved you on an eternity
And that has melted into a soup,
In which, you did not enjoyed
It was bittersweet
And I laugh with spite
Now, yr guilt has poisoned you
Because yr partner left
And you were left to face life alone

Sometimes fate takes its own course and its wind favors us. A touching and well expressed poem.
