I Found A Wallet Poem by Kelvin Rush

I Found A Wallet

I found a wallet near the corkscrew ride
I was so excited as I looked inside
Two hundred quid in twenty pound notes
And a credit card belonging to Mr D Cotes

I handed it in to the local police
I was proud of myself I felt joy and peace
I removed sixty quid I hope it won't be missed
I'm so sorry Mr D Cotes I couldn't resist
