even though she described the physic pain and touched some of the emotional pain, i wish she explored more about her mental health
So sad..... Father how can you be so cruel.... Let me rise and live... But remember I love you dad from the bottom of my heart..I.. Forgive you.... Such a deep breath poetry.... I almost cried..... After reading I remembered my incident.... How can I forget.... I really broke into sobs.... I really love the last line.... I love it whole... Keep courage... Naila
Very powerful poem. So much tragedy in the world today. Well written!
This is a powerful reminder of the side of child abuse that many don't speak about. Well written.
Very sad. I hope your dad will realise one day his fault and will start loving you. Please say once more, dad i love you. you are the person to push me in this world'.
its sad but sweet at the same time. it shows the innocence of an abused child but also the guilt and feeling that you should still love your parents as they're your birth parents. i wish i felt the same but i dont but i dont know how to feel towards this poem either.
This is such a sad poem. It reminds me of my own childhood. Very well written
this is such a sad poem, but i love it so much! it is so true about me and mi 'father' you are a really good poet.: ]
This is the second time that I have read this poem. The first time I read it, I was speechless. Now, this is the second time, and I am still speechless. When life hurts the most, there is always someone there to pick you up; to make things better. You may not believe in God or maybe you only know of Him, but there is a God that cares for you and He wants to make you life better. God sent His only Son into the world to help us know God better. God gave everything He had so He can gain you. Christ died on the cross and rose again so we can go to Heaven and live with God forever. God is calling out to you, because He want you to have a better life. He wants to take all the hurt and the pain away from you and exchange it for something better: peace, hope, joy, grace, and a better tomorrow. The only thing you need to do is to listen to Him. He is calling, will you answer? God Bless!
I like this poem. I was sexually abused as a child. I know you are supposed to forgive people but I just dont have the kind of heart to forgive him for what he did to me. He messed up my self-esteem, confidence, happiness, and much more. I think I need to learn how to forgive and forget.
Beautiful. It shows that children are the better than adults because they know how to forgive. A 10. -Storm
very powerful poem... I felt the pain
