The catch is in the phrase..lagtaa hai k tum ho..otherwise there is not anything said new. Long ago I had accompanied my father to Akhtar sahib's residence, I heard him recite this ghazal, and another that ended...pasand hai yaaro...etc.
Nice attempt, Ravi, but the catch of Urdu rendition is missing.

It could be rendered into 'it seems as if it is you or it appears (seems) it is you etc. I considered these options but resorted to I feel it is you which is economical and sweet. Any thoughts? Thanks again.
